After working with law firms and a Fortune 500 title insurance company, his entrepreneurial spirit moved him to go into private practice in 2005. Douglas’ experience enables him to skillfully conduct title searches and close residential and commercial transactions in North and South Carolina. He attended the University at Albany, where he graduated summa cum laude from the Honors College and finished his degree in three years. There, he earned a B.A. in psychology, presenting his thesis at an undergraduate research conference, and earned a minor in business administration. Nick then went on to earn a scholarship and attend the Villanova University Charles Widger School of Law. During law school, Nick represented clients pro-bono in social security disability cases and had internship experiences focused in mergers, corporate law, and entertainment law. He graduated as the youngest student in his class in May 2019 and then passed the Universal Bar Exam in the state of North Carolina in July. Not long after, Nick moved to Charlotte, NC in pursuit of better weather, economy, and quality of life. Nick enjoys trying the variety of local food and beer that Charlotte offers, and outside of work, you can find him on the golf course, at the gym, or watching sports (Go Ravens!).
